STICK 2 – Small but powerful
Description
The STICK microcomputer controller is the flag ship of the products produced by Welco Engineering Ltd and has become an icon within the livestock industry. The user friendly system is operated by a single joystick which allows the farmer to view and adjust all the settings by means of simple menus.
The complete range is available in different formats depending on customer requirements from the small STICK 2 unit for operating existing fan/inlet load centres to large steel enclosures with glass front doors built to the customers own specification.
The STICK is available for a number of applications including:
- Sequential Fan Controller
- Variable Speed Fan Control
- Natural Ventilation (Side only or side and ridge)
- Wheat Blending and Bird Weighing
- Feed Distribution and Winch control for Broiler Breeder houses
STICK Ventilation controllers offer many functions which enable precise control of:
- Temperature and Minimum Ventilation – (automatic profile curves each)
- Heating
- Humidity
- Pressure – using up to 4 inlet motors
- Feeding and Lighting
- Misting system control
In addition the STICK has a comprehensive “Records” menu to monitor:
- Max/Min Temperature
- Max/Min Humidity
- Water consumption
- Heater/Dehumidification run times – to enable monitoring of gas usage
